Your account data (email and hashed password) is stored in a MongoDB database hosted on a secure cloud provider. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt — we never store plain-text passwords.
Chat messages are sent to OpenRouter's API for processing but are not permanently stored by SG ChatBOT after your session ends.
All communication between your browser and our server uses HTTPS encryption. Passwords are bcrypt-hashed with a cost factor of 12.

SG ChatBOT uses browser localStorage (not cookies) to store your authentication token and email address locally on your device. This allows you to stay signed in between sessions.
This data never leaves your device unless you are actively using the Service. You can clear it at any time by signing out or clearing your browser data.
We retain your account data (email and password hash) for as long as your account is active. Chat messages are not permanently stored by our servers after being processed.
